Côtes de Bourg is the only appellation in Bordeaux that entirely fits within one canton (an administrative area) - Bourg-sur-Gironde. The Bourg region is made up of an often steeply-sloping succession of hills, which end in abrupt cliffs next to the 'rivers'. These wines are identified by their beautiful and intense colour as well as their robust well-balanced flavour. This wine is a deep garnet-red in colour. Floral flavours with hints of ripe fruit. Full-bodied, well-structured and rich in tannins.

| Wijngoed informatie | "Marie Claire Blais, a French-Canadian author and lover of good wines, was fortunate enough to see this magnificent château, built on the remains of a church, bear her name. She was a regular guest at the château and it was here that she met her first love, who dedicated the property to her. As early as the 14th century, the wines of the Bourg region were held in high regard, particularly by the English who occupied the area. La Croix des Blais is an illustration of the potential and quality of the wines from this beautiful Côtes de Bourg winemaking region." |
